1960s ART Jeweled Oversized Stick Pin

Here is an ornate 1950s-1960s vintage jeweled oversized stick pin created by ART. Similar to oversized stickpins designed by Florenza (see Julia Carroll's book Collecting Jewelry 202, page 328). This stickpin features a dazzling combination of sapphire blue rhinestones, turquoise beads, emerald green rhinestones, all accented by crystal rhinestones, set in an antiqued setting. Please see all pictures. This stickpin is large and measures 4-1/2" x 1-1/2". Marked ART (C) indicating this item was made after 1955 when companies started putting copyright marks by their name. Condition of stickpin is very good. Art jewelry has become very collectible in recent years.

Vintage ART Snake Brooch Set-Book Piece

This is a very collectible brooch set from ART. Dating between 1955 and 1970; features a brooch and pair of clip earring with snake motif. Goldtone, the brooch is a coiled nake (reported to be a symbol of everlasting love), matching clip earrings feature a similar design. Red rhinestone eyes, red enameled tongues, and black highlights of snake skin design. Brooch measures 1-1/2" x 2", earrings measure 1" x 3/4". Can be seen in Julia Carroll's book Collecting Jewelry 202 on page 243 another version of this design can be seen in Judith Miller's book Costume Jewelry on pae 139. This set is in excellent condition, with no wear noted. Brooch and one earring is signed ART(c) as seen in photographs. Don't miss this collectible set!
