Detailed
vintage Mexican butterfly brooch created with shell.
Large brooch measures 2" x 1-3/4". Marked Mexico
Sterling 925 and Eagle 3 assay mark (dating this piece
from 1946-1979).; additional maker's marks are present
but difficult to read. Brooch is n very good condition
with vintage patina, may be polished if desired. A lovely
butterfly brooch to add to your vintage jewelry collection.

vintage and beautiful Weiss butterfly brooch. This
brooch features dramatic black faceted Marquise, pear
shaped, and Chaton uct rhinestones set in a Japanned setting.
The brooch is 2" in width, with jeweled antennas,
and 2-1/4" in height. All stones are prong-set. It
is in very good condition. Brooch is signed Weiss with
an applied oval plate on the back. It is a dramatic collectible
brooch and a great way to start your own collection of
Weiss jewelry or add to your vintage butterfly
