Simple, elegant cameo earrings in a picture frame type bezel setting. Screwback earrings marked with the symbol for Curtman Co. of Providence, RI. This company began business in 1936. Associated with Uncas Manufacturing Company. Left and right facing shell cameos are light ivory color on a deep red-orange background and measure 5/8" in diameter x 3/4" long. Condition is excellent and very wearable.

Here is a lovely pair of unsigned 1960's carved shell cameo earrings. Prong set cameo, open in back, set in criss-cross design goldtone metal frames. Most likely manufactured by Florenza although unsigned. Measure 3/4" x 5/8". Very good condition. A beautiful pair of vintage shell cameo earrings.

1930s Gold-filled Locket marked WH
Item #11320
Here is a late Art Deco photograph locket, circa 1930s. Photograph jewelry became popular during the Victorian period and has continued throughout the years; given and worn as a act of affection and honor to loved ones. This large oval ocket measures 1-1/8 x 7/8", and features a lovely engraved front accented with a bezel set shell cameo, and plain backside. It opens from the side to reveal two round photograph sections. The rims of these sections are removable and placement of the photographs into the locket is easy. Once replaced, the rims secure the photographs in the locket. Marked WH and 1/20 12K. The necklace chain measures a comfortable 19" in length, and is marked Union and 1/20 K. The locket is in very good condition, with only light surface scratches. It has a wonderful vintage patina but can be polished if desired. A beautiful nostalgic piece, and sought after by collectors.

From an estate in rural Pennsylvania, here is a beautiful ornate shell cameo necklace. Circa early 1940s. Perhaps Victorian Revival period. Features an oval shaped carved shell cameo, prong-set, with an ornate setting. Necklace measures 17", center design measures 2". Necklace and cameo setting are unmarked, spring clasp features older, large clasp. Many pieces of this era were goldfilled, however this piece is not marked to gold content or manufacturer. Very pretty shell cameo necklace; you will enjoy adding this to your vintage jewelry collection.

Vintage Goldette Shell Cameo Slide Necklace

Here is a lovely cameo watch chain with a shell carved cameo slide; the shell cameo features a woman's profile. The chain features delicate twisted loops that enhance the beauty of the slide. The chain measures 30" overall, the cameo slide measures 3/4" x 1/2". Although unmarked, this piece is most likely a 1960s Goldette piece, as I have seen other similar necklaces. In very good condition, with no markings. A friendly reminder this necklace is vintage costume jewelry, previously owned and worn.

Vintage Coro Carved Shell Cameo Necklace

Here is a lovely signed vintage Coro carved shell cameo necklace done in the Victorian Revival design. Coro used this design up into the early 1950s. Circa of this necklace most probably 1940s. Bezel set cameo, closed in, set in goldtone metal frame with beads. A similar brooch can be found in Monica Lynn Clement's book Cameos-A Pocket Guide, pg.81, with circa 1890s. Necklace chain measures 18-1/2", cameo pendant measures 1-3/4" x 1-1/4". Brooch is marked Coro in script indicating it was made prior to 1955. Very good condition, some vintage patina on necklace chain although I have not attempted to clean. A beautiful vintage Coro cameo necklace.

Truly a lovely cameo pendant necklace. I believe this to be a shell cameo as the setting is marked A.C. 1/20 12 G. F. marking on the back of the pendant. I have not been able to identify the jewelry manufacturer as yet. The pendant necklace measures 15-1/2" in length (we have necklace extenders available), with jump ring closure also marked 1/20 12 G. F.. The oval cameo pendant measures 1-1/4" x 1". A very elegant necklace.! A friendly reminder this brooch is vintage costume jewelry, previously owned and worn.

Pretty cameo earrings featuring large amethyst colored faceted stones with white cameo centers. Circa 1950s. Very unusual design. Prong-within an ornate goldtone setting. Similar to earrings found in Monica Lynn Clement's book Cameos-A Pocket Guide, pg.104. One clip earring is marked with Patent No. 156432 and 1/20 12KT GF (it appears this is a replaced clip-it works well and its difference is unnoticable when worn). Other clip earring back is not marked. Left and right facing white cameos are plastic. Earrings measure 1" in diameter. Condition is excellent and very wearable.

One of my favorite cameo necklaces. This is a vintage locket with a prong-set black plastic cameo on the front. Interestingly, the locket opens from the backside, and can hold up to two pictures inside. View additional images. The locket measures 1-3/4" x 1-1/3". Necklace chain measures 25" for a comfortable fit. In very good condition, the locket closure opens easily and securely closes. If you like vintage lockets, add this fabulous one to your collection!
