Vintage Goldtone Necklace with Vintage Heart Mustard Seed Charm

Circa 1950's. If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed...nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 17.20. A wonderful old Victorian belief held the mustard seed symbolized faith. For this reason, the small golden seed was encased in glass and worn as an amulet. Here is a goldtone necklace with a heart mustard seed charm. Lucite charm with mustard seed inside. Necklace measures a 18", charm measures 1" in diameter. Charm is unmarked, necklace chain is marked SN. In very good condition with little wear to goldtone finish. Enjoy this sentimental vintage mustard seed necklace.
