Vintage Sarah Coventry Jewelry

Sarah Coventry was founded in Newark, New York State in 1949 by Lyman K. Stuart, President. of the C.H. Stuart Co. The jewelry was named after his granddaughter Sarah Coventry Beale. Sarah Coventry mainly marketed its jewelry through home parties, and continued until 1984 when the company ceased operations. The rights to the Sarah Coventry name were then purchased by a Canadian manufacturer. The better sets and pieces are expected to rise in price and every collector should have at least a few pieces of Sarah Coventry in their vintage jewelry collection.

Here is an absolutely dazzling vintage Sarah Coventry cocktail ring. It is a gorgeous domed cluster of Aurora Borealis Chaton cut stones in a silvertone setting. Aurora Borealis rhinestones catch and reflect the light like rainbow mirrors. This ring is a signed "book piece" listed in the Vintage Sarah Coventry catalogue files and called Nite Lites. This design is called Midnight Magic and features smoky black glass stones linked together and surrounded on all sides by Chaton cut pink rhinestones in a black japanned setting.
