This is a Victorian stick or scarf pin, probably from the 1920's era. The pins were worn by both men and women. This pin features a faceted round ruby rhinestone, bezel set in an Art Deco goldtone setting. Marked with worn initials on back, possibly 'RGP' (rolled gold plate) or 'HGE' (heavy gold electroplate)? The entire length of the pin measures approx. 2 1/4", the amethyst stone measures approx. 1/2". It is in extremely good vintage condition. A wonderful, collectible Victorian piece of jewelry! A friendly reminder this stick pin was previously owned and worn.
