Circa 1879 Victorian Tubular Bracelet with Onyx Stone
Item #9635

Early Victorian bracelet, circa 1879. Black onyx stone center design set in a gold filled setting with bronze tubular bracelet. The onyx has two pink stones, perhaps are replacement stones as some slight chipping noted when viewed with 10x jeweler's loupe. However, a very unusual bracelet design; with a spring action and opens to 2-1/2". Patent dated on the reverse side: Dec.16, 1879. I believe this piece was polished by its former owner.
