  Vintage WRE Sterling Glass Scarab Bracelet

Here is a vintage WRE Sterling bracelet that features five colored glass scarabs; circa the 1940s. Marked WRE Sterling for the Richards Jewelry Company (also makers of Symmetalic jewelry.) The scarab carved stones include Jade, Carnelian, Tigereye, and more. Marked WRE 1/20-12K G.F on clasp. The bracelet's length from end to end is 7-5/8" with a fold over clasp. Each scarab is about 3/8" x 1/2". In very good condition, with vintage patina. A very collectible older scarab bracelet.

Vintage Russel Goldfilled Scarab Bracelet

Scarab jewelry, popular in the 1920s, was again back in vogue by the 1950s. This is a double link vintage carved scarab bracelet from that era. This bracelet measures 7-3/4" in length, and consists of seven large oval scarab stones, bezel set, within large goldtone double links. The scarab carved stones include Jade, Onyx, Carnelian, Tigereye, and two quartz. Very good condition (note: there is a slight hairline crack on the Jade stone, very difficult to see, however stone is snug and intact). Signed Russel and 1/20-12K G.F; also marked 12K GF on clasp. A wonderful example of a vintage scarab bracelet!

Here is a vintage goldfilled scarab bracelet, in a slightly different design. Created with six long oval stones, set in a goldfilled setting. Marked CC believed to be a mark for the Curtman Company, Inc.; this mark was first used in 1950. Bracelet measures a comfortable 8" with a spring clasp. Marked 1/20 K GF and CC. A very nice vintage scarab bracelet.

Designed in the scarab bracelet style, this beautiful bracelet features six vintage blue chalcedony colored glass scarabs; circa the 1940s - 1950s. The glass stones were made to simulate the semiprecious gemstone blue chalcedony. The bracelet setting is near new looking as it's unsold former jewelry warehouse stock, silvertone nickel silver basemetal, and in good working condition, with lace bordered settings and a foldover clasp for easy on and off. The bracelet's length from end to end is 7-1/4" with a closed clasp. Each scarab is about 1/2" x 3/4". A wonderful example of a vintage scarab bracelet!

Vintage Scarab Necklaces

Amber Vintage Glass Scarab Glass Bead Sterling Necklace

This feminine necklace features a warm amber colored vintage scarab, circa the late 1940's imported originally from Occupied Japan, plus faceted and round and spindle amber glass beads. The necklace is 17" long, not counting the scarab pendant, with the pendant this piece is about 19 1/4" long. The scarab measures 1" x 3/4". The necklace's clasp is Sterling. The scarab itself is finely detailed and set in a Sterling open back setting, plain back with swirls of color. The scarab is the well beloved idealized representation of the dung beetle which for the ancient Egyptians was associated with Khepri, the god of the newborn sun and symbolized new birth, rejuvenation, and resurrection. This is a truly special one of a kind hand-crafted necklace in an Egyptian motif.

Genuine Blue Tiger-eye Pendant with Faceted Glass Beads Necklace Set

This beautiful necklace features a central genuine blue semiprecious tiger-eye gemstone bead pendant in an eye-popping 40mm x 30mm wavy rectangular shape with a beautiful genuine Swarovki Austrian faceted lead crystal bead accent. The pendant alone is 2 1/4" long. This unique pendant is set off by sharp faceted fire polished dark sapphire and black diamond Czech glass beads. The necklace has a genuine .925 sterling silver clasp and all the pendant's metal is sterling silver as well. The necklace is about 17" long not counting the pendant (a princess length), with the pendant this piece is almost 21" long. This is a truly special one of a kind hand-crafted necklace with unusual beads! Included are matching pierced earrings. The tiger-eye has a rich and uncommon hue. The blue color comes from the original formation of the tiger-eye (and this blue tiger-eye is called hawks' eye or falcon's eye, Falkan-Auge in German). The typical golden tiger-eye actually starts out as the blue asbestos mineral called crocidolite, which has a long thin fibrous structure. When tiger-eye is formed quartz replaces crocidolite but assumes the fibrous structure it's left, in the process often becoming stained by iron to shades that range from golden yellow to brown. In the near-surface weathering conditions in the arid climate of South Africa where tiger-eye is mined, the crocidolite asbestos veins slowly become impregnated with silica. When enough silica has accumulated to solidify the material enough to make it a true quartz rock, it is the deep blue color of the original crocidolite fibers (Reference: Si and Ann Frazier"s "Eye on Tiger-eye" article, Lapidary Journal, July 2000). Tiger-eye is said to stimulate wealth and enhance stability metaphysically. This tiger-eye has beautiful unusual color.
